Zelig' Schwartzman and Eva Schwartzman - What is the Connection? There is no doubt that there are two Schwartzman families and that somehow they are conected. We do know that Zelig (aka Sol) Schwartzman was the son of Yehezkel Schwartzman (from Zelig's gravestone) and that according to family lore Zelig sponsored Eva (aka Riwke) and her children to America. What is not known is how Eva is related to Zelig. This family tree is one attempt to reconcile that connection. If Joseph (Eva's husband) is not a sibling to Yehezkel it may be that Joseph is related in some other form perhaps Joseph's father was Yehezkel's sibling. We have no way of knowing. |
