The Schwartzman Family ..... A historical family website
In 1995 or 1996, the ten grandchildren of Harry & Esther came together to jointly donate and register Harry & Esther for inscription upon the Immigrant Wall of Honor.  It was not until the Year 2000 that their names were actually inscribed.  This page in addition to describing how to find the appropriate tablet will present their listing on the virtual Wall and the actual Wall.

Overlooking New York Harbor, this beautiful memorial is the largest wall of names in the world. Located in the shadow of Ellis Island's historic Main Building and the Statue of Liberty, The American Immigrant Wall of Honor is a 664 feet long, 4 feet 10 inches high, double sided, semi-circular wall and a 213 feet long rectangular addition adjacent to the semi-circle wall.  Together the walls bears the names of nearly 600,000 individuals and families engraved on stainless steel panels as a tribute to our nation's immigrant heritage. Ellis Island is the only national monument where any American can place a name in tribute.
