Notes Regarding Research Paper : A number of facts in this paper have been proved incorrect or are actually still unknown to this date and the paper should be taken for what it is ...a 11th grade Social Studies  project but at the same time it was this project that began to solidify my interest in family history and genealogy. Corrections and Notes: > Rebecca is actually Eva Schwartzman.  >Where the paper reports that Eva emigrated with all three of her children it is only known that in 1908 she emigrated with her youngest son Aron (Harry).  Click here to link to actual manifest.  It is unknown if David and Gussie traveled together or individually but together is more likely. >Eva and Aron emigrated from Yedinitz in Bessarabia (now Moldova) and not from Odessa Russia (which is actually in the Ukraine now).  Although at several points in history Bessarabia was controlled by either Roumania or Russia. >It is not known how Eva's husband Joseph died.  I am unclear as to where the reference to the 1905 Kishinev Pogrom came from.  The relationship between Joseph and Sol Schwartzman is also unclear.  It is known that Joseph was not Sol's brother but he indeed did sponsor Eva's family to America. >Harry's wife Esther was not the sister of one of the restaurant owner's to whom Harry delivered fruit too.  It is now believed that they were indeed introduced by mutual family friends.  The fact that Harry was once paid by a restaurant owber by being given a car is true though. - Eric
